AlliedBarton Security Services, a provider of highly trained security personnel, appointed Rich Cordivari to vice president of national accounts. Reporting to Mimi LanFranchi, senior vice president, national accounts and specialized services, Cordivari will provide strategic business development support to the security firm’s growing national accounts group.
In his previous position as vice president of learning and development, Cordivari led the training team in the development of curricula and course delivery methods that advanced AlliedBarton’s position in the security firm’s award-winning training.
Brent O’Bryan, SPHR, who was previously region director, human capital management at AlliedBarton, succeeds Cordivari as AlliedBarton’s new vice president of learning and development and will report to Jim Gillece, senior vice president, human capital management.
Since joining AlliedBarton in 2003, Cordivari has held several positions, including vice president of learning and development, national training director, Philadelphia region training director and Mid-South Atlantic training director. His 20 years in the industry have included positions as vice president of event operations for SpectaGuard, and vice president of Secure Defense Systems in Springfield, N.J., a security consulting firm.
Cordivari also had a 15-year career in law enforcement. He received his B.S. in business administration from Villanova University.
O’Bryan joined AlliedBarton in 1998 and has held several positions, including regional director of human capital management, division recruiting director, division recruiting manager and regional recruiting manager. Prior to joining AlliedBarton, he served as a staffing supervisor at LL Staffing Services.
O’Bryan received his B.A. in psychology from Calvin College and an M.S.A. in human resource administration from West Chester University of Pennsylvania.
