London — June 16
Learning and talent management software provider Cornerstone OnDemand is hosting its annual Pan-EMEA User Group and Talent Management roundtable event June 21 at The King’s Fund, at No. 11 Cavendish Square in London. The one-day event connects Cornerstone clients with industry leaders and Cornerstone team members to discuss workforce trends and share best practices across all areas of talent management – including learning management, performance management, succession planning, enterprise social networking and extended enterprise enablement.
“As businesses move beyond recessionary HR strategies, it is becoming even more critical for them to develop, align and retain pipelines of skilled, competent employees in order to stay competitive,” said Vincent Belliveau, general manager, EMEA for Cornerstone OnDemand. “We look forward to exploring the role of Cornerstone’s technology in helping our clients further their learning and talent management initiatives and better engage, enable and empower their people.”
Learning and human capital management thought leader Donald H. Taylor, chairman of the Learning and Skills Group, will moderate an interactive panel discussion on a variety of talent management trends, ranging from blended learning and development-driven performance management, to social collaboration, talent mobility and career pathing. Panelists include top-tier industry analysts and thought leaders such as Kim Lamoureux, vice president of research for Bersin & Associates; David Wilson, founder and managing director of Elearnity; Richard Mosley, global senior vice president, employer brand consulting for People in Business; and Laura Overton, managing director for Towards Maturity.
Executives representing four premier Cornerstone clients also will lead case study sessions examining the use of Cornerstone’s comprehensive, SaaS-based product in supporting their various learning and talent management initiatives. This includes insider views of strategic talent management initiatives at a brewery group, as well as at a UK media and telecommunications firm; global volunteer management training and development with a humanitarian aid organization; and the blended learning initiatives at a tobacco firm.
