Calvin: Hello and welcome to the Chief Talent Officer podcast, Talent10x. I’m Calvin Coffee, an editor here at Chief Talent Officer. For the past several years, I’ve had the pleasure of learning from distinguished leaders in Talent Management and HR who have endless insights and lessons to share from their time in the industry and who have made incredible contributions to the world of Talent Management.
Today, I get to speak with Patrick Sutton, a leader in talent management. From all of us here at Chief Talent Officer, thank you so much for joining us for this episode of Talent10x. Please be sure to also check out Voices of CLO, the podcast over at our sister publication, Chief Learning Officer.
C: Hi Patrick. Thank you so much for joining me today. Can you talk about your own leadership and career journey and what led you to your perspective on leadership?
Patrick: I think for many of us who’ve been in the professional world the last four years we’ve had to pivot and really look at ourselves and how the industry has changed. And so for me, my career started. Almost two decades ago. And so I learned to pivot even more so in the past three years looking at how I want to show up as a leader, what type of work environment employee experience works for me, and just defining this new work world that we’re in.
