Many organizations’ diversity and inclusion initiatives fall short because they lack a comprehensive strategy. The one-off training sessions may be beneficial in creating high-level understanding, but like any other skill, continuous practice and reiteration is required to build that muscle. At an organizational level, developing a sustainability plan allows one to think holistically and practically about what work lies ahead, how you plan to get there and how you plan to create the right opportunities and spaces to reinforce the right practice. At an individual level, you will leave this session with an understanding of what critical success factors are needed to enable your strategy and how to build a sustainability plan.
Learning objectives:
● What should you consider in developing a DEI strategy for real impact?
● What critical success factors are needed for DEI sustainability?
● What role does mindset play in executing a DEI strategy?
