DESCRIPTION:As individual contributors transition into people leaders\, many companies are not properly equipping their employees with foundational leadership training. In fact\, 87 percent of managers surveyed wished they had received more training when becoming a leader\, according to a 2016 by Grovo. Those that do provide training often rely on online self-training that may prove difficult to their day-to-day operations. In this webinar\, you will learn how we went from a traditional classroom-led new leader training to a six month interactive blended learning experience.   \nLeveraging this model\, we have been able to: \nProvide new leaders with opportunity to develop their leadership skills and provide a safe space to practice key moments that matter.\nDrive greater efficiency and effectiveness in facilitation while reducing costs.\nDeliver standardized training experience at scale and globally.

DESCRIPTION:As training professionals\, it is challenging to bring in new technology due to cost and skepticism about the value of unproved technologies. It is a complex field and there are considerations you have to be aware of before investing on any new virtual reality program. \nIn this podcast I discuss why we chose to go with VR training as opposed to artificial intelligence\, and how we solved a business problem and were able to show a sizable return on investment. I will also show an unexpected addition to ROI which added strongly to the return of investment in the new technology. \nVR will become part of training programs in the foreseeable future.
